Thank you for the response Robert. I would have to disagree, however, that the statement is a half-truth or not factual. I believe the question arises of when you consider someone to own a piece of writing. Einstein gave his approval and drafted the letter with Szilard and then signed the letter, with only his signature. To me, Einstein wrote and owned that letter when he signed it. It became his work and his words regardless of the input, or intentions, of Szilard. This is not to say, however, that the details and backstory behind the letter weren’t significant or important.
